  1. Try around your local cafe’s, it shouldn’t really depend on the branch or name of a place, because you’ll never really know what the food’s like until you try it.

  2. If there’s a Borders Book Store near by then your in luck, they have fantastic hot chocolate. Plus they put little white chocolate flakes and whipped cream on the top so it’s perfection.

  3. Do you know what’s in Starbucks hot chocolate?

Cocoa mix ~ powder, water, mixed with whisk, placed in fridge.
Vanilla syrup ~ sugar, corn syrup, MSG aka citric acid.
    steamed milk
    whip cream

There’s your tasty tasty Starbucks Hot Chocolate ~ Woo Hoo! That’ll be $2.50, please.

    Real Hot Chocolate:

    Hershey’s Cocoa
Whole or organic milk, or whatever milk you like, steamed
    Marshmallows

And…it only costs you close to 10 cents to make as you will make it again and again from the Hershey cocoa powder jar.

    Drink up!!!

  4. You can make your own;

    1/2 cup sugar
    1/4 cup Hershey’s Cocoa
1/3 cup hot water (hot tap water will do)
    4 cups of milk
    3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
    Dash of salt

Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in saucepan. Stir in water. Cook and stir over med. heat until mixture boils, boil and stir 2 mins. Stir in milk and heat. DO NOT BOIL. Remove from heat and add vanilla, enjoy!

  5. To make the best hot chocolate on the planet melt 2 oz of bitter sweet chocolate for every cup of milk in a double boiler. It’s a real as you can get when it comes to hot chocolate. Never user chocolate syrup it’s chocolate flavored corn syrup with no real coco in it.
