  1. Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate

    1 − 16 oz. box of non fat dry milk

    1 Cup Sugar

    3/4 Cup cocoa

    Sift all ingredients together three times. Store this mixture in a

    tightly sealed container in a cool place. When ready to use,

    you can add a couple of heaping tablespoons to hot water.

    Sprinkle miniature marshmallows on top.

    Hot Chocolate Special
    Yield: 4 Servings

    2.50 c Milk, scalded
    2.00 oz (2 squares) unsweetened
    Chocolate, quartered
    0.25 c Sugar
    1.00 t Vanilla
    1.00 ds Salt

    Rinse an electic blender container with hot water. Put into
    container=7F about 1/2 cup scalded milk, chocolate, sugar, vanilla
    and salt. Cover and blend about 1 minute, or until smooth and color
    is even throughout. Add remaining scalded milk and blend until
    thoroughly mixed. Serve immediately

    Marshmallow Cream Hot Chocolate

    4 cups milk
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/3 cup chocolate syrup
    1/3 cup marshmallow cream

    Mix milk, sugar and syrup in crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW
    2-3 hours until heated through, stirring regularly. Garnish
    individual servings with a dollop of marshmallow cream.
    Makes 5, 6 oz. servings.

    Hot Cocoa

    2 large marshmallows
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 pinch salt
    1/2 cup warm water
    2 cups milk
    1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1. Put a marshmallow in the bottom of each of 2 mugs; set aside.

    2. In a heavy saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until there are no lumps. Add the water and bring to a boil over medium heat. Lower the heat and simmer for 3 minutes.

    3. Add the milk, whisk to combine, and bring almost to a boil over medium heat. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla. Ladle the cocoa into mugs and serve very hot.

  2. Ingredients:
    6 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
    6 tbs sugar
    2 1/2 cups milk
    2 1/2 cups light cream
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    Cinnamon, whipped cream and orange zest
    Preparation:
    Add sugar and cocoa to milk and heat in a saucepan until dissolved. Add the cream, cinnamon and vanilla. Heat until almost boiling. Mix well and serve, topped with whipped cream and a bit of orange zest.
