  1. Start out with whole milk, add some plain chocolate candy bars or plain chocolate until it is nice and chocolaty, then add some orange liquor, peppermint schnapps, butterscotch schnapps OR just some marshmallows and a peppermint candy cane.

  2. Heat whole milk in a saucepan or in a mug in the microwave. Add cocoa powder and sugar to taste. And definitely add mini marshmallows!! That’s it!! For a real treat- get Godiva cocoa- soooo chocolat-ey!! It doesn’t work to add regular chocolate to cocoa- chocolate has oils in it – and there will be a little film of oil at the top. With Godiva- you get the incredible taste and no oil film.

  3. One cup milk, cocoa, coffee creamer, sugar to taste, cinnamon stick, nutmeg to taste, cool whip. Marshmellows. Heat milk.combine cocoa sugar and creamer to taste (experiment)whip with fork.add nutme and cinnamon. Then marshmells then cool whip. From with candy kiss

  4. The steps below will make hot chocolate that is rich and creamy:

    – Pour milk in the mug you will use, but leaving enough room for the extra chocolate.
    – Pour that milk into a pot. Heat it on medium to high heat just until it starts to boil, then IMMEDIATELY remove it from the heat. You will have to watch the milk nonstop, however. As soon as it starts to boil, it gets foamy VERY fast and the level of the milk will rise and boil over the edges of the pot in a matter of a second or two. This gets the milk kind of thick, foamy, and creamy.
    – Stir in your hot chocolate powder or syrup. I actually use two packets of powder per mug. Or, you could keep adding chocolate syrup a little at a time and stir it in until you get the desired color. Stir it in really well.
    – OPTIONAL: You could add a dab of vanilla flavored syrup, but just a squirt.
    – Pour it into your mug.
    – OPTIONAL: Add small marshmallows.
    – OPTIONAL: Add some whipped cream in a can to the top.
    – OPTIONAL: Sprinkle some chocolate powder or cinnamon on top of the whipped cream, or just on top of your marshmallows, if you don’t like whipped cream.

The result will be the Ultimate Hot Chocolate. Enjoy!

  5. Heat 1 cup of milk on the stove over low heat
Stir in 4 heaping tsp sugar and 2 heaping tsp Dutch Processed cocoa powder. (You can play with the ratios here depending on how chocolaty/sweet you like your cocoa. I like mine very chocolaty so I’d use maybe an extra 1/2 to 1 tsp cocoa.)
Add a dash of corn starch and a small handful of chocolate chips for extra creaminess.

Stir until everything is dissolved, and serve!

  6. Best Hot Chocolate Mix

2 cups nonfat dry milk powder
    3/4 cup sugar
    1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/2 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
    1/2 cup powdered nondairy creamer
    1/8 teaspoon salt

Measure all of the ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisk them until they are evenly blended.

Store the mix in a tightly covered container at room temperature until you’re ready to package it. Makes about 4 cups of mix.
