Can you put coconut oil in a cup of hot coco to cover up the nasty taste of cocounut oil?

The hot coco is not very hot just hot enough to melt coconut oil!! Im just wondering if you will receive all same benefits doing it this way!!!

  1. I can not imagine drinking an oily cup of cocoa. All you need is milk, cocoa powder, sugar, and pinch of salt mix the dry ingredients together then add the milk and cook until hot on medium heat.

  2. Cocoa usually is mostly watery substances. Oil will probably float to the top in that. Maybe the milk would break it up if you stirred a lot, but I don’t think so.

    Usually, food is food, and any benefits come from eating it, regardless of what you have it in. Have you considered using the coconut oil for cooking other foods? I bet you could put some in omelettes, or add it to peanut butter cookies and things like that.
