  1. sticks felt ears and a nose on the cup……draw some eyes and a mouth on it and ask it quantum physics questions … always is a winner ! XX

  2. Yes, you have to try peppermint. I never was a fan, but I tried it during the Christmas holidays and was blown away by how good it tasted.

    How about adding caramel syrup?

Obvious is marshmallows, BUT, try a different kind, I recently bought toasted coconut marshmallows at the Walmart, fell in love. They taste so good alone, in cocoa or dipped in chocolate as a candy/snack.

I am also attempting to do candy making, so I am adding this bec you can find melting chocolate at any grocery store and it is not complicated. Buy marshmallows and dip them in melted chocolate and then drop them in your hot cocoa mug!

    Enjoy 😀

  3. You can add some cinnamon or any number of flavor extracts (vanilla, orange, almond, mint) or any flavored coffee creamer. You can dunk a few chocolate chips or a candy caramel or even a small peanut butter cup or a butterscotch hard candy. If you want to get adventurous try something with a little heat…some hot sauce or chili powder. If you want a nice relaxing dessert or stay at home treat, add a bit of rum or whiskey. If you want something really decadent, add a bit of real butter.

You might also try blending your different kinds of chocolate for your cocoa. Assuming you are starting with a packet of ordinary powdered hot chocolate where you add water, you might be able to add some white or dark chocolate shavings. OR get super indulgent and add milk instead of water, or even a shot of real cream.

These are all readily available and easy to use.

  4. Ingredients:
    ⅓ cup of unsweetend coco
    ¾ cup of white sugar
    1 pinch salt
    ⅓ cup boiling water
    3¾ cups milk
    ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup half and half cream
    Original recipe yield 4 servings

1)Combine the coco, sugar, and pinch of salt in a saucepan
    2) Blend in the boiling water
    3) Bring this mixture to an easy boil while you stir, simmer and stir for about 2 minutes—watch that it doesn’t scorch
    4) Stir in 3 ½ cups of milk and heat until very hot—but do not boil
    5) Remove from heat add vanilla
    6) Divide between 4 mugs, add cream to the mugs of coco to cool it to drinking tenperature
    Enjoy!!!! :^)
